My husband and I LOVE our dogs Rowan and Clover, which means whenever we head on a road trip they are often coming with us.

Thankfully our dogs are used to the car and they don’t cause much trouble. That being said, they are both high energy dogs and a little calming lavender oil spray is always a good thing to have on hand.

This spray works like a charm to calm our pups down when they are getting antsy on the road. Here’s the simple and easy-to-make recipe…

Lavender Oil Calming Doggy Spray

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • Lavender Essential Oil

Directions:

1. Mix one cup of water with 6 drops of lavender oil.

2. Pour into a spray bottle.

3. Mist over dog.

Note: Feel free to adjust the amount of oil depending on how potent you want the spray to be.

Yes, it’s really that easy.

Enjoy!
